My zeal cannot be contained! Oh, if we could each just take a moment and look at the world through the eyes of an innocent child, this world would truly be beautiful. It was my birthday, and I'm too old to be a kid, but I was looking forward to Mama's homemade German Chocolate cake and a Ozzie hug after work.
As I exited my car with heavy laden arms, it began to rain. This cut short my conversations with Hope's two youngest fans, busy at the library, leaving gifts. Their sweet angelic faces shone with happiness as they quickly informed me of Hope's visit and her promise to send friends. I informed them that I had contacted FEMA (Fairy Emergency Management Agency) to confirm their continuing need for temporary housing during this Fairy Famine crisis. They have located one of Hope's best friends, and are happy to re-home her in our neighborhood. Hope beat me to the punch, though. She sent her new little friends a note asking if Lov-E could come to visit and they have said "yes". Now all we need is the paperwork, and she will arrive right on schedule to stay in their Lovely Lovie "Fairy Hows".
I just hope Fred doesn't try to horn in on the new home and fairy. He's after the magic! Ozzie and I can handle him, but the poor unsuspecting little girls are not prepared for that psychotic squirrel. I've taken to letting Ozzie off his lead and that seems to get a different response than the usual "see if I care" attitude Fred is famous for.
Ozzie is actually pretty fast. He almost got Fred two days ago. The whole incident upset Fred so badly, the squirrel brought a second for protection on his next go round at the bird feeders. It didn't stop Ozzie next time though. Out the door Ozzie went, chasing both those squirrels up the telephone pole hot on their tails.
