Well, Fred is now a permanent resident on my porch. He used to leave if I tapped on my window, but he’s learned the routine. Instead of jumping into the bushes only to come right back, now he just sits stuffing his face, with his tiny little squirrel hands, as fast as he can, before I open the front door and get within grabbing distance. He’s brought the entire family for a visit. I guess the squirrels in my neighborhood will eat well this winter. Sorry birds. #fred #michelenimtz
