He has been with me for a long time. G-Nome is actually my daughter's gnome, but he likes my house better right now, especially with the influx of new fairies flittering around. He was especially impressed with the fairy mushroom that popped up in the yard the other day. A true sign the fairies are here to stay.
Fred on the other hand seems squirrel bent to cause trouble. I'm pretty sure he ate Hope's mushroom before she could even harvest it. That squirrel is a menace. He can't possibly be hungry with all the sunflower seeds I supply him on a regular basis.

That sweet little mushroom never hurt a anyone. It was the perfect size for Hope and Fred just ate it in one bite, I know it. I have proof of it's existence, though. I snapped this picture that morning on my way to work. I had planned to place one of my tiny gnomes next to it for scale, but when I got home that afternoon it was gone.

On previous occasions I have watched Fred devour other much larger mushrooms, bite after bite. That's why my money is one him. He's the only glutton in my yard. Well, him and the fat dove, but dove's don't like mushrooms. He must have a tape worm or something the way he is never satisfied. #fairies #fred #littlefreelibrary #michelenimtz
