Hope is anxious to get off the ground and out of the tent. The rainstorm yesterday damaged the flag given to her by the little girls and she is very sad. Meanwhile, Tim the Tiny Toolman has done the classic construction thing, raising the roof first, even in this rain. I hope that means the door is soon to follow.
It can't happen soon enough as Fred is up to his old tricks again. I've got Ozzie trained now. When he sees Fred at the feeder, he runs to the door to be launched at the squirrel like a pellet out of a Red Rider BB gun.
Fred has worn a path from the feeder to the telephone pole where he retrieves his little friend then works his way back with backup. Do you think that stops my little Tasmanian devil? Not on your life. Ozzie proves chasing two tails is better than one.
Fred must have hired his body guard on the cheap because he's not about to stick around for a rendition of "Who Let the Dogs Out?" At the first sign of trouble, the muscle runs serpentine in the opposite direction from Fred, leaving him in the dust to deal with Ozzie. All Fred can do is yell at him from the pole. It's pretty darn funny. #fairies #ozzie #fred #littlefreelibrary #michelenimtz
