I now have fairy lights! Hope is really making the Little Free Library sparkle in more ways than one. It is my great prayer that the neighborhood will continue to encourage participation with the addition of "Magical Mischief" homes and places for our fantastical friends, mystical mavens to gentlemanly gnomes.
Twinkle, twinkle in the night,
by the sparkly firelight,
you will host new friends a bright,
hidden safely from your sight.
Don't despair,
they are there.
Show you care,
and soon we'll have a pair.
I'm anxious to see if we can play this forward and increase our brood of fairy friends, pesky pixies, enchanting elves, and gnarly gnomes. Wanna help? If you have a broken pot or an old stump in your yard, re-purpose it! Coffee cans and old funnels will work too. Look at things differently, like the knotholes and raised roots of trees. Could they be secret openings only visible in the magical haze of pixie dust?
